Making your own bridal bouquet is not out of the question. Whether you want real flowers or silk flowers you can make a bouquet that will look as beautiful on your 25th wedding anniversary as it does on the day you get married. Use the your favorite flowers and arrange them any way you want.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Silk or real flowers
  • Floral cutters or scissors
  • Floral tape
  • Ribbon

Step1
Decide on a type and color of flowers for the bridal bouquet. Pick either fresh or silk flowers. Buy as many as you need for your bouquet.
Step2
Arrange the flowers. Lay them on a flat surface and bunch them together to get a round, fuller bouquet. Make sure some stand higher and fill any empty spaces.
Step3
Use floral clippers or scissors to cut the excess off the longer stems. Inspect the flowers to ensure they are all the same length.
Step4
Hold the stems together tightly and wrap them together with floral tape. Overlap the tape as you wrap it down to the end, and around the bottom of the stems.
Step5
Cover the floral tape with a silk or satin ribbon. Wrap the ribbon down the stem. Follow the same process used for the tape. Use either craft glue or floral stick pins to secure the ribbon in place.

Tips & Warnings

  • To keep fresh flowers alive longer, put a floral pic filled with water on each stem before bunching the flowers together.
