If you're hosting a summer party, but are tired of serving the same old margarita drinks, spice things up with a Beer Margarita. They are a bit strong, but oh so good on a hot summer day. Here is a quick and easy Beer Margarita recipe.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 can limeade
  • Mexican beer
  • 6 oz. vodka
  • 6 oz. water
  • Beer mugs
  • Medium sized pitcher
  1. Step 1

Place the beer mugs in the freezer for 30 minutes to ensure they get nice and frosty.

  2. Step 2

In the pitcher combine the can of frozen limeade and one bottle of beer.

  3. Step 3

Save the limeade can and use it to measure equal parts of vodka and water. Pour the water and vodka into your pitcher. The limeade cans are usually 6 oz, so it makes the measuring and clean-up very easy.

  4. Step 4

Stir the mixture until it is well mixed. Then serve immediately. This recipe makes enough for 2 large or 3 medium-sized drinks. Please note that these are fairly strong drinks which may suddenly "hit" your guests, so make sure everyone is practicing safe drinking and driving.

Tips & Warnings
  • As an added bonus you can salt the rim of your beer mug by wiping the edge of the frosty mug with lemon and then dipping into a shallow bowl of salt.
  • You may also substitute tequila for vodka in this recipe.
