Tips & Warnings
If you go with a salad be sure to add calories for the salad dressing or croûtons. The best picks are the Fat-Free Italian dressing with only 25 calories or the Fat-Free Honey Mustard dressing with 60 calories. A pack of croûtons contains 70 calories.
When adding toppings to your pasta bowls, choose the Peppery Chicken at 70 calories, the Broccoli at 45 calories or the Broccoli and Tomatoes at 50 calories.
Your best bets on low carb dressings for your salad are the Ranch or Lite Ranch at only 2 carbs, or the Caesar at 1 carb.
Add a Dry Breadstick or a Caesar Side Salad to any order and add only 2 grams of fat. A very healthy Garden Side Salad is fat free.
Add Peppery Chicken for only 1 additional gram of fat, Broccoli for 2 grams of fat, or the Garlic Shrimp which is fat free.
Remember, each gram of fat equals 8 calories.
Avoid the Lemon Ice Drinks. At 180-360 calories a glass, it is not worth adding to your meal.
Skip the Oven-Baked Pastas and the Submarinos. An original Submarino has a whopping 1180 calories, while the Rigatoni Romano has 1090. The rest average in at about 750 calories each.
Avoid desert, the Lemon Ice Drinks and anything with bread or pasta if you want to stick to your low carb diet.
Avoid the Alfredo Pasta Bowls with 18 grams of fat each, and don't add meatballs (18 grams of fat) or Italian sausage (21 grams) to your dish.
Skip the Submarinos, Pizza, Deserts and Oven-Baked Pastas all together. They are all extremely high in fat.
