Place the tree lights on first. Lights should be put on the tree before any other decorations. Start at the bottom of the tree and work your way up to the top of the artificial tree.

4
Place the garland on the tree. When using a garland on your fake tree, put it on after the lights. Also, start from the bottom and work up to the top.

5
Use heavier ornaments to trim the tree. A benefit of a fake tree is that it can hold larger ornaments without the threat of branches drooping or breaking. Ornaments should be placed toward the inside of the tree as well as at the end of the branches.
