Some colleges offer hundreds of majors, but increased specialization can make these programs unattractive to students with broad or unconventional interests. Fortunately, some colleges have created programs that allow students to create their own, unique major. Usually there are only two requirements: the college doesn't already offer that major (you can't major in your own version of physics) and you need an advising professor to support your program of study.
