Things You'll Need:
- 6 pieces of boneless chicken
- 2 1/2 Tbsps of peanut butter
- 3 cups of rice
- Cooking oil
- 1 broccoli
- 5 peppers
- Salt for flavoring
- Pepper for flavoring
- 1 cup of water
- Snow peas
- 1 onion
- 1 1/2 cup of baby carrots
- Wok
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
-
Step 1
Start by chopping up your red, orange, yellow or orange peppers. Chop your broccoli, onion, snow peas and carrots into small bite size pieces. Finely chop your 2 garlic cloves.
-
Step 2
Take your chicken and place it onto a separate cutting board. Cut your chicken breast into 2 inch strips and place in a bowl. Wash your cutting board and hands thoroughly after you do this.
-
Step 3
Place your wok on the stove and turn on medium heat. Sprinkle your garlic into the pan and add a tablespoon of cooking oil.
-
Step 4
Place your chicken strips into the bowl and stir around until cooked all the way through. The chicken should be soft and chewy.
-
Step 5
Add your vegetables into the wok once the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Then sprinkle in salt and pepper to give extra flavoring to the mix.
-
Step 6
Add 2 1/2 tablespoons of peanut butter into the wok and let it melt into the oil. Keep stirring the mix around until the peanut butter is smooth and like a sauce.
-
Step 1
Add some water to help cook the vegetables thoroughly and to make extra sauce. The carrots might take a bit longer to cook than the rest of the dish.
-
Step 2
Cover the wok with a wooden cutting board after you have mixed it up. Then let it cook and simmer.
-
Step 3
Place another pot of water on the stove and bring the water to boil. Add a dash of salt and a tablespoon of butter and fill pot with rice up to half way of the water's height. Let it cook until the water has absorbed and keep stirring.
-
Step 4
Place the cooked rice onto a plate and make a little hole in the middle of the rice. Scoop some of the peanut chicken stir fry into the area and serve!
