Facebook can be a great way to connect with old, and possibly forgotten, friends from high school. Facebook's database allows you to search not only by your specific school, but also by year of graduation. And with so many people using Facebook these days, you're bound to find some friends you might not have heard from in years.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Log on to your Facebook account. If you don't have a Facebook account, creating one takes just a few minutes.
Step2
Click the down arrow next to the word "Search" on the left side of the screen. This will give you a drop-down menu of search functions.
Step3
Select the "Find classmates" option from the drop down menu. It will take you to another screen when you can enter your school information.
Step4
Fill in the "Search by high school" information box. Enter the country, state, city and the name of your high school. You can also enter the date of graduation and a specific name of a classmate as optional choices.
Step5
Click the button that reads "Search for classmates" and it will bring up every person listed to have graduated from that school in that year. You can then add those people as your friends.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only people who have listed their high school will appear in the search engine. Sometimes people will not list their graduation year, which might make your search a little more difficult.
