Golf lessons at a country club can be very expensive. To save some money, many golfers are beginning to learn the basics of playing golf from an instructional video. Golf videos will teach you the rules of play and how to get a better score each time that you play.

    Choose the area that you need instruction in. You can learn about the basics of the game, tips on improving your swing, stance improvement suggestions or pitching tips.

  3. Step 3

    Locate a spacious area to watch the video. You need an area that gives you enough room to practice along with the video.

  4. Step 4

    Use the appropriate clubs to practice with the video. You should have your clubs handy in order to learn the lessons of the instructional video.

  5. Step 5

    Practice the lessons that you have learned on the golf course. Take the advice from the video and apply it to your game. You may find it helpful to take notes while you are watching the video.
