How to Add a Friend on Myspace
MySpace remains an excellent resource for staying connected or reconnecting with friends online. When you first set up your MySpace account, it can be intimidating; but once you get to know your way around, you get the hang of it and it becomes fun. Request a Friend Who Has a Myspace Account

Go to the MySpace website and sign into your account.

Click on someone's page if you have their MySpace link; or do a people search on MySpace to find the person you want to add.

Click on the "Add to Friends" link once the page of the person you would like to add to your friends' list opens. This link will be one of eight under the person's name and picture (say his name is John) in a section called "Contacting John." Once you've done this, text will appear that says, "Click "Add" only if you really wish to add John as a Friend." Just below this it will give you two options.

Click on the option, "Add to Friends." After clicking this link, text will appear that says, "An email has been sent to the user for your request to add this user." When your friend has approved the request, you will be added onto his list and he onto yours.

Sign into your MySpace account.

Clink on the link "Invite" which is the fourth link from the left on the navigation bar above your picture on your homepage.

Fill out the information on the page that loads next. Include the email address and a personal message for the person you wish to invite to MySpace. The person you are inviting must not already have an existing MySpace account.

Click the "Send Invite" box at the bottom of the page and MySpace will send them an e-card with your personal message and a link to MySpace. Once your friend has signed up for MySpace, you will automatically be added onto his list and he onto yours.
