Anyone can make regular brownies; but brownie bites are special. You can turn just about any brownie recipe into brownie bites by cutting the baking time to just under half of the regular time. Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brownie recipe & ingredients
  • Non-stick spray
  • Preheated oven
  • Cookie scoop, tablespoon size
  • Mini muffin tin
  1. Step 1

Select your favorite brownie recipe. Cake type brownies work best for this recipe. Fudge brownies may not cook properly.

  2. Step 2

Prepare your brownie mix according to the recipe directions.

  3. Step 3

Scoop the brownie mix into a lightly greased mini muffin tin with a tablespoon size cookie scoop.

  4. Step 4

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes. If your recipe specifies a different temperature and time, you can cut the cooking time in just under half. Be careful not to overcook the brownie bites as they will become crispy when overcooked. A toothpick entered into the center of one brownie bite should come out clean and not sticky.

  5. Step 5

Allow the brownie bites to cool before removing. Try twisting them out by hand or using a butter knife to help remove them. Removing the brownies too soon may cause them to crumble.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try scooping your favorite cookie dough into mini muffin tins to make fun shaped cookies.
  • Be sure to have enough mini muffin tins available to use since you will need to let the brownies cool after they finish baking.
  • If you only have a small amount of extra mix left after filling a large mini muffin tin you can divide it amongst the brownies you already scooped in order to make slightly larger brownies if you do not have a second tin to use.
  • Do not overcook your brownie bites. They will become very dry and crispy.
