Since its debut in 1989, the Simpsons has been the most loved animated sitcom in the history of American television. Matt Groening, their creator, parodies the life of "Middle America." Yet the Simpsons have fans worldwide because the show laughs at human nature. Prove you're a fan of the Simpsons by following these steps.

  1. Step 1

    Cover your walls with Simpsons pictures. Give everyone a place in your house, from clumsy Homer to mischievous Bart to silent Maggie. Set up a shrine to your favorite character where everyone can see it when they enter your home.

  2. Step 2

    Get every DVD of The Simpsons. Memorize when every guest appeared on the show. Play trivia games with other Simpsons fans.

  3. Step 3

    Buy all The Simpsons gear available. Wear Simpsons clothes, hats and shoes. Write with the Simpsons roller pen. Use the Homer stress reliever in your office.

  4. Step 4

    Sign up for The Simpsons newsletter and get the latest on America's most famous family. You'll find it on the official Simpsons website along with a trivia game, quotes, wallpaper for your computer and information on the show.

  5. Step 5

    Join the Simpsons-L mailing list to hear from other fans, or visit the alt.tv.simpsons forum on Google Groups.
