How to Plan a Day’s Horse Racing at Kempton Park Racecourse

Kempton Park is a racecourse in Sunbury on Thames in London, England. The racecourse is floodlit and holds popular evening race meetings. The main building contains discos, live music facilities and restaurants and is particularly popular at weekends.

1. Kempton Park is not only home to racing. There are also discos, bars and restaurants on site! Make your night an event by booking a table and wining and dining yourself and your friends.
2. Wednesday night is a very big and popular night at Kempton. Bring your friends and enjoy a fun night in one of the onsite bars while watching floodlit night racing. Live bands also frequently perform on Wednesday nights.
3. Hire a box at Kempton for a private party or very special occasion. Boxes have fantastic views of the racecourse and offer a range of extravagent treats for customers.
4. Travel to Kempton Park by car. The racecourse is near the London end of the M3. If you are travelling from anywhere other than Central London, the best route is to follow the M25 round to junction 12 and then turn on to the M3 eastbound until Junction 1. From there turn right on to the A308 and Kempton Park is approximately 1m further along on your left.
5. Kempton Park has its very own station which is served by trains on the Shepperton to London Waterloo line. Trains from London the journey takes approximately 35 minutes and trains leave roughly every half an hour.

• If booking a box make sure you contact the racecourse well in advance as these tend to get booked up quickly.
