We all get a little lazy sometimes. But this can cause a big mess without us even realizing what has happened. Here's how to slow down and clean up, without driving yourself crazy.
So you wake up one morning and realize your house looks like a hurricane hit it. First of all, don't panic. Cleaning up a mess is not hard. It may seem overwhelming, but if you relax and decide where you want to start first it will become more simple. So focus on one specific thing, like your messy coffee table. And just work on that until it is as clean as you would like.
Step2
Once you break up a big mess into many small messes it will feel less intimidating. So you move from one little mess to another.
Step3
Soon you will start to see a big difference from all of your cleaning efforts. This will motivate you to keep up the good work. And before you know it there will be no more messes, only clean surroundings!
Tips & Warnings
You may want to listen to music while cleaning, this helps time go by faster, and it puts an entertaining twist on a mundane chore!
if you can get your spouse to help you clean this can turn into a fun experience, it doesn't sound fun, but talk while you clean and it's amazing how fast time will go by.

on 7/11/2007 I often set my timer for 15 minutes so I don't feel overwhelmed. It rarely takes as long as I think it will to clean up.
