Step 1
It's easy to get to Amsterdam from the UK. There are regular flights from most major airports and if you book in advance you can get major discounts. Easyjet may be your cheapest option if you book in advance and they fly to Amsterdam from Glasgow, Liverpool and London airports.
-
Step 2
You can get to Amsterdam from London via the Eurostar train connecting for Amsterdam at Brussels. It may not be as cheap as going by coach, or even by plane, but it is comfortable and faster than getting the ferry.
-
Step 3
Book your accommodation first. As you would expect of a city the size of Amsterdam, there is plenty of accommodation available, from budget hotels to hostels. But this is a busy time of the year and booking is advisable.
-
Step 4
Get your tickets. If you plan a getaway to Rebellion Amsterdam, get your tickets before you go. The event usually takes place mid-May and the last day for booking tickets via credit card is April 30. If paying by cheque, then the last day for sending your cheques off is April 7. Post cheques to 205 Beake Avenue, Coventry CV6 3BB, and for credit card orders call 02476 601 678.
-
Step 5
Buy tickets at the door if the event is not sold out. Tickets cost £20 per day and the event usually takes place over a Saturday and Sunday.
-
Step 6
Expect a great time. The Rebellion Amsterdam festival is held in the centre of Amsterdam at The Melkweg. The venue boasts two stages and is situated near a bustling square that is rammed with bars and restaurants. The official address is The Melkweg, Stichting Melkweg, Lijnbaansgracht 234 A, 1017 PH Amsterdam, Netherlands.
