There are regular flights from most major UK airports. If you book in advance with budget airlines such as Easyjet or Ryanair, can get to Barcelona for around £60 each way. There are coaches that will take you to Barcelona from London but it is quite a trek.

Book your accommodation. As you would expect of a city the size of Barcelona there will be plenty of accommodation. If you plan a getaway to Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival then book your accommodation in advance. You can find budget accommodation, but if you check with the official website they will have details of places to stay that may give special rates come festival time.

Get the tickets. The festival takes place over 3 days around May or June each year; check the website for exact dates prior to booking. Ticket prices vary and you can get either buy a 3-day ticket for around £100 or you can buy day tickets and even just a night ticket.
