Cleaning bronze coins can be a pain. What to use? How to avoid corrosion? Well, it's fairly easy - easier than cleaning copper coins!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bronze coins.
  • A cloth.
  • Warm soapy water.
  • A lot of patience.
  • A lot of time.
  • Paper towels.
  1. Step 1

Put out two paper towels, one for the dirty coins and one for the clean coins.

  2. Step 2

Using the cloth, dip it in the soapy water (make sure it's warm first) and then gently rub at the coin. Don't do more than one at a time, and make sure that you rub them gently.

  3. Step 3

When you've finished rubbing the coin, carefully dry it off.

Tips & Warnings
  • You will need a lot of water, so change it regularly.
  • DON'T scrub at the coins! This can cause tarnish.
