This is a quick, easy, and very kid-friendly mural activity! Be sure to buy a non-toxic, lead-free latex paint for this activity. Cover walls, benches-even basketball posts-with colorful hands that leave a record of your work and children's involvement.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-4 gallons of non-toxic, lead-free, latex paint
  • Soapy water
  • Roller pans
  1. Step 1

    Pour pre-mixed paint into flat pans-one for each color.

  2. Step 2

    Place a flat pan filled with soapy water that can be used for easy rinsing.

  3. Step 3

    Have children place their clean hands in paint pan.

  4. Step 4

    Supervise children as they place their hand firmly on wall.

  5. Step 5

    Quickly rinse!
