On a trip to Cancun one year, I was on a tour that ended with a lobster dinner that was grilled on a large open flame BBQ. It was the best lobster I've ever had, so I wanted to share the recipe.
In the morning, make the grilling sauce by taking 12 limes and squeezing juice and some lime pulp into a bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper, mix and then let it set for the day.
Step2
large pot
Buy four live lobster that weigh at least 1 1/2 pounds. Put the live lobster into a large pot of boiling water for 5 minutes.
Step3
Remove lobster and place onto a large cutting board. Take a large chopping knife and split the lobster in half. Remove the veins, intestines and poop trail.
Step4
Melt 4 sticks of butter and mix into the grilling sauce from the morning.
Step5
Place the lobsters onto the heated outdoor grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes. Remove from grill and serve.
Tips & Warnings
Serve with flour or corn tortillas, mexican rice, refriend beans and fresh salsa.
A cold beer
If one of your lobsters dies more than an hour before putting it into the pot, throw it away because its not good to eat.

on 9/3/2007 I'm guessing that the lobster is grilled meat side up, right. That way all the sauce will be on the meat....
