Register with Thomson Directories' online site Business Strata or better yet, get a Standard Membership.

Click on "Business Search PRO" to search the business list database. You can also go directly to the Business Search PRO website.

Click on "eMarketing Advantage" and access over 500,000 business email listings.

Click on "Premium Data Suite" and you will come to a page offering new business lists. Click on "New Connections" to find current information on new businesses. Find out which businesses have been showing the fastest growth by clicking on "Fastest Growing Companies." Keep yourself notified about upcoming businesses that have been around for more than 3 months with "Plus X."

Use the Search Form in "Business Search PRO" to search for "British Business." The four main search criteria are "Standard," "Geographical," "Financial" and "Match/Dedupe Data."

Input information like business type, business name, SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code, SIC description, premise type, number of employees and number of years in business.

Search by county, area, region, town, locality, address and postal code.

Search by turnover, financial year end, profit before tax, net worth and exports.

Use the selectable search fields to find only records with fax numbers, website addresses, Thomson Verified Contacts and Companies House Contacts. You can exclude duplicates and screen against TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and FPS (Fax Preference Service).

Refine your search and revise until you have obtained the exact information you want. The selectable record fields are helpful in finding only the required specific data. Once you are satisfied with your compiled data, click on "Hitlist" to preview your selection.

Buy it as it is, export it to "Campaign Manager" or add it to "Outbox" and cherry-pick further for buying or using in your telemarketing campaign.
