Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to adventurecenter.com to plan an adventure trip to Mexico. Use the pulldown menus to select "North America" in the region section and "Mexico" under "Country."

  2. Step 2

Select the main activity you would like to experience on your adventure trip. If you are open to a variety of activities, do not choose anything from the activity menu.

  3. Step 3

Choose the duration of your trip. Adventure Center offers trips from just a couple days to few months.

  4. Step 4

Pick your earliest possible departure date and your latest return date. Keep your dates as flexible as possible in order to find the most options for your adventure trip. The best months to enjoy the beaches of Mexico are from November through May. June through August are very hot and considered peak travel times, so trips are booked well in advance and rates are higher.

  5. Step 5

Pull down the "Price" option and select a price range for your trip. Click on "Find My Adventure!" to get the list of adventure trips that meet your specifications.

  6. Step 6

Click on the name of each trip indicated in blue to find out more details. The next page gives you an itinerary, travel information and a selection of possible dates for your trip.

  7. Step 7

Choose "Book Now" if you are ready to book your adventure trip to Mexico. Enter your traveler information, contact details and payment information as indicated in the pop-up window to complete the booking of your trip.

  8. Step 8

Call Adventure Center at (800) 228-8747 if you have any questions about booking an adventure trip to Mexico. Adventure Center can also book your flight from any major U.S. city to your destination in Mexico. They have deals with many airlines and can often find you a cheaper rate than you can find on your own.

  9. Step 9

Obtain your passport. Visitors to Mexico do not need a visa, but do need a valid U.S. Passport.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pack light according to the list provided by Adventure Center.
  • Ask your doctor if you need any immunizations before leaving for your trip.
