Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Floral foam
  • Decorative flower bowl
  • Hydrangeas
  • Roses
  • Freesia

    Tulip and Daffodil Centerpiece

  1. Step 1

Gather together 4 to 6 of your tulips or daffodils and secure them loosely with a rubber band. Arrange them in the center of your vase.

  2. Step 2

Place the lemons, limes or both within the vase, surrounding the stems of the flowers. Work carefully so as not to crush the stems.

  3. Step 3

Fill the vase with water then set your arrangement on the table to be admired by all.

  4. Rose, Hydrangea and Freesia Centerpiece

  5. Step 1

Cut the floral foam to fit the inside of your bowl. Soak it in water before placing it in the bowl.

  6. Step 2

Trim the stems of your hydrangeas and place them in the foam so that the blooms hang off the side. Surround the edge of the bowl with the hydrangeas.

  7. Step 3

Fill the center of the bowl with your roses, working from the outside in.

  8. Step 4

Place sprigs of a brightly colored freesia or other seasonal filler flower throughout the centerpiece, filling in any gaps.

Tips & Warnings
  • Trim the stems of your flowers at a 45-degree angle, using a knife rather than scissors to avoid crushing them.
