This is the perfect martini to sip on a spring afternoon as the cherry blossoms are just beginning to show. And with just a few ingredients, you will have your cherry martini made in no time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cherry Vodka
  • Cheri-Berri Puck Schnapps
  • Lemon-Lime Soda (Sprite or 7-Up)
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Sugar
  1. Step 1

Garnish your glass. Using a lemon wedge, wipe the edge of the glass and then dip the glass in cocktail sugar. Shake off the excess sugar. On the side of the glass, garnish a cherry by slicing it and resting it on the glass.

  2. Step 2

Incorporate ingredients. In a shaker, combine 1 part Cherry Vodka, 1 part Cheri-Berri Schnapps and a splash of lemon-lime soda.

  3. Step 3

Throw in some ice. Place a healthy amount of ice in the shaker, cover and cap it.

  4. Step 4

Shimmy Shake. A shimmy shake requires a bit of forceful shaking combined with subtle shaking done simply with the wrist. Shimmy shake for about thirty seconds.

  5. Step 5

Remove the cap or utilize the strainer and pour the drink into your glass. If you use the standard shot glass measure, this will make one drink.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some people like to float a mint leaf on top of the martini.
