How to Make a Raspberry Martini

Things You'll Need

  • Raspberry vodka (Smirnoff makes a great one)
  • Raspberry liquor (DeKuyper "Razzmatazz" is fantastic)
  • Lemon-lime soda
  • Ice
  • Shaker
  • Bar sugar
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Lemon wedge

Instructions

      Garnish your chilled martini glass by wiping the edge and dipping the top of the glass in bar sugar. Shake off the excess sugar. Next, partially cut a raspberry and sit it on the edge of the glass.

      Combine crushed ice, 2 parts raspberry vodka, 1 part lemon-lime soda and 2 healthy dashes of raspberry liquor into your shaker.

      Cap your shaker and shake contents mightily so the flavors have a chance to mingle.

      Pour your contents into your garnished martini glass. If each part is equivalent to a shot, this recipe will make one large martini, about 5 oz.(not to be confused with those 1950s small sippers).

Tips & Warnings

  • Float a few fresh raspberries in your drink for an extra fruity flavor.
