Instructions

    • 1

Kneel or crouch down in a comfortable position to shoot. Make sure you are low enough to aim accurately.

    • 2

Fold your thumb inward toward your hand so that your thumbnail is directly under your pointer finger and the knuckle of your thumb is bent.

    • 3

Fold your other fingers, except your pointer, into a fist. You should look like you are making a gun with your hand.

    • 4

Wrap your pointer finger around the marble and hold it against your thumb knuckle.

    • 5

Brace your thumb against your middle finger.

    • 6

Lower your hand close to the ground, but not touching it, with your thumb behind the marble and your fingers closest to the ground. As you get better, you should begin putting all four knuckles on the ground when you shoot.

    • 7

Flick your thumb out of your hand, shooting the marble forward.

Tips & Warnings

  • Each player should have their own shooter marble that they use throughout the entire game.

  • Your shooter marble should be no bigger than 3/4 of an inch and should be different from all the other marbles in the game.

  • Once you begin getting good at shooting marbles, you can start twisting your hand as you shoot to put a spin on it.
