Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Continue to brush regularly even if it makes you nauseous. You can change toothpastes if the taste of your current brand makes you sick.

  2. Step 2

Floss every day. It's difficult because your gums are sensitive, but it's necessary to remove food buildup between your teeth. Although your gums may bleed, it will not hurt you.

  3. Step 3

Use an electric toothbrush. It reduces plaque and prevents gingivitis by brushing your teeth more thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

Try a plaque reducing mouthwash. Use it in conjunction with your regular brushing routine.

  5. Step 5

Visit your dentist for regular checkups and cleanings. Ask your dentist for tips on brushing your teeth. As we get older, some of us forget how to do it properly.

  6. Step 6

Limit the amount of fruit juices that you drink. They stick to your teeth in between brushings. Drink a lot of water.
