After jumping up to grab the remote to make sure there was nothing wrong with their television, addicts of HBO's "The Sopranos" realized that David Chase ended the "Sopranos" the same way that this provacative series was played out over the years-on the edge and not within the normal realm of television. If you have a "Sopranos" addict in your life who is going through withdrawal, follow the steps below to help them make it through this tragic period as they say goodbye to their favorite series.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sopranos DVDs and TV
  • Plane ticket to Secaucus, NJ
  • Baked ziti
  • Red wine
  1. Step 1

Encourage your addict to watch the final episode of The "Sopranos" on the many different HBO feeds. It will rerun at least 250 time throughout the summer. Tell them not to expect the ending to change.

  2. Step 2

Purchase all available "Sopranos" collections that are on DVD and give it to your series addict. This will set you back only a few hundred dollars, but is definitely worth the price for a "Sopranos" addict in withdrawal.

  3. Step 3

Take a trip to Secaucus, New Jersey, for a tour of the places that were made famous by the series. On Location Tours (212-209-3370) specializes in giving fans the ultimate "Sopranos" experience. Visit the Bada-Bing Strip Club, Striale's Pork Store and other key locations in northern New Jersey.

  4. Step 4

Find an old, brick building in your own town that resembles Satriale's Pork Store. Set up a couple of tables and some folding chairs. Gather several recovering "Sopranos" addicts and have them act out a scene from their favorite series. One of them can wear a leather jacket and be Tony, someone else can wear a velour jumpsuit with white patent leather shoes to play Paulie Walnuts. The biggest person in the group can be Big Pussy. They can have a meeting and decide who gets whacked.

  5. Step 5

Prepare your addict a special meal that was eaten in every episode of the "Sopranos," baked ziti with lots of red wine. Try to get through the meal without a phone call about someone getting whacked. That didn't happen often for Tony.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ask your "Sopranos" addict to think about the cat that was staring at Christopher's picture. Just a thought-was it Adrianna?
  • Make sure your "Sopranos" addict doesn't go out on a boat with the head of the mob. He or she won't come back. Remember Big Pussy! And Paulie barely made it back from his fishing expedition with the boss.
