Become acquainted with Barbera D'Asti. This Barbera is typically dry and full bodied. The minimum alcohol content per volume is 12 percent.

Find out about Barbera D'Alba. This Barbera is dry, medium-bodied, acidic, with an alcohol content of 12.5 percent per volume.

  • Let it breathe. Recommended breathing times for Barbera varies, but the minimum recommendation is 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Don't serve this wine with salads. It is highly acidic and will clash with any vinegar-based salad dressings.
