Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Realize that things and conditions are constantly changing in the real estate world. You want to find a newsletter that has meat in it. Fluctuating interest rates, the hottest market areas and average home prices in your area are subjects you want to look for.
Step2
Visit a local real estate office and ask for their free literature. Many of these brokerages provide a real estate newsletter regularly. They are more than happy to give away information that will inform the public about what's going on in the real estate market.
Step3
Look for communications from any Realtor you've done business with in the past. Many keep your name in their database and send regular mailings. Some of these mailings are actually great information. They'll let you know when it's a great time to buy or sell a home. Many of their newsletters will give advice on how to get ready to buy or sell a home.
Step4
Visit your local mortgage company. They are more than happy to help you find information about real estate. Many mortgage companies actually print their own newsletter to keep you informed of interest rates and current market conditions.
Step5
Find real estate newsletters online also. Just be sure to check the fine print, because not all of these are free. Whether you find one online, from a company or from a Realtor, you'll discover interesting tidbits of information. Some even touch on other subjects of interest besides just real estate.
