1
Locate where your downloaded LimeWire songs are saved to your computer. This will likely be one folder. If you aren't sure where your files are saved, go to the options/preferences menu, and you'll find the name and location of the folder holding these files.
-
2
Open Windows Media Player, Real Player or any other program you may have that will open and play your media files. These programs are often free, and they are built to burn CDs. If you do not have such a program, download Windows Media Player at Microsoft.com or Real Player at Real.com. There are numerous free programs like these available online.

3
Choose the correct menu option in your media program that allows you to burn a CD. You may need to indicate the type of CD you're creating, such as data or music.
-
4
Follow the directions specific to the program you are using. When prompted, select the folder you originally located--the file that LimeWire automatically places files in.
-
5
Choose the specific files you would like to include on the CD and double-click on each to be added to the folder to be burned.
-
6
Finish by allowing the program to burn the CD you've created.
