There was a time when NFL games were limited to Sundays. Now, with games on Sundays, Mondays and Thursday on a regular basis, following the NFL football season requires a near daily dedication which means the end of the NFL season can be traumatic if not handled in a sensible manner to avoid NFL season withdrawal.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Find your Hawaiian Paradise. Most people assume the NFL season concludes with the Super Bowl and to a degree they would be correct as the Super Bowl is the last truly competitive contest of the NFL season. But since to avoid withdrawal, don't forgot about the Pro Bowl, the NFL's annual all-star game played in Hawaii the week after the Super Bowl. It's not very competitive and the players don't go all out, but it may be enough to avoid serious symptoms of NFL season withdrawal.
Step2
Feel the draft. The NFL Draft has become nearly as big as the Super Bowl to die-hard NFL fans who can't bear the thought of the NFL Season coming to a close. It is also a time when fans whose teams may not have exactly set the league ablaze have a chance to see their team score a top prospect. The 2-day, 7-round NFL Draft is televised live on ESPN and is sure to be able to salve any gaping wounds left by the close of the NFL football season.
Step3
Cross the pond. The NFL has become so popular that it has expanded to Europe. NFL Europa has 6 teams, 5 based in Germany and 1 in Amsterdam. Players are allocated by NFL teams to the NFL Europe franchises to gain playing experience. NFL Europa's season runs from April to June.
Step4
Go bowling around the world. The NFL Europa season concludes with the playing of the World Bowl, a showcase featuring the top 2 teams from the NFL Europa season and a chance to catch players who may show up on your favorite NFL squad next season. The World Bowl is televised by Fox.
Step5
Lose yourself in a fantasy. If you follow the NFL you are probably very familiar with Fantasy Football. Dominate your Fantasy League and get cracking by studying up. Gather all the latest updates from the NFL Draft, free agent signings and player news and have the inside track to Fantasy League domination. Fantasy preparation should start from the moment the NFL season ends right up to your league's draft. This is a surefire way to ward off the demons of NFL season withdrawal.
