Zamioculcas zamiifolia or ZZ plant is not the plant to pass by at the nursery. A ZZ plant is an easy houseplant to grow because it is tough. The houseplant requires some formal care but not nearly as much as other indoor plants.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Forget about watering and the plant lives. Thick underground tubers store water for months. Allow the soil to remain fairly dry.
Step2
Water it every other week. Let the soil dry out between watering.
Step3
Place the plant in low light and it can survive.
Step4
Set the plant in higher light and the quality of the plant transcends.
Step5
Keep the plant away from hot, direct sunlight because the plant can burn.

Tips & Warnings

  • The ZZ plant is one of the easiest plants to grow.
  • ZZ plant is a slow-growing succulent.
