Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Boxes
  • Plate for the base
  • Wrapping paper
  • Ribbon
  • Glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  1. Step 1

Gather the materials for the centerpiece. Determine how big you want the centerpiece to be, and choose an appropriately-sized plate for the base. Find small boxes to decorate. Use boxes you already have, buy them at a craft store or use foam or wooden blocks. Get enough wrapping paper to wrap every box. Use all one color, a pattern or multiple colors for an eye-catching centerpiece.

  2. Step 2

Wrap all of the boxes neatly with wrapping paper. Add ribbons and bows to the boxes, making each one look like a little gift.

  3. Step 3

Place some of the boxes on the plate, making a base on which to stack the remaining boxes. Keep in mind they will end up in a pyramid shape.

  4. Step 4

Glue the boxes to the plate. Use just enough glue to hold the boxes securely. You don't want glue showing around the edges of the box.

  5. Step 5

Stack the remaining boxes in layers, using fewer boxes for each layer. Glue them in place as you go.

  6. Step 6

Top the centerpiece with the last, or smallest, box. Add garland, fake snow or nothing at all around the bottom layer of boxes.
