    • 3

Place covered in the fridge if you are preparing the dressing in advance.

    Prepare Fruits and Vegetables

    • 4

Wash and dry vegetables on paper towels, or spin dry in salad spinner.

Chop or finely shred the cabbage with sharp knife, or in food processor.

    • 6

      Clean and grate the carrot.

    • 7

Assemble the fruit and vegetables, then pour the dressing over the cole slaw and mix thoroughly.

    • 12

Cover bowl and place apple cole slaw in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes for the flavors to blend together

Tips & Warnings

  • Use real mayonnaise instead of salad dressing for best results.

  • If you are on a short time, or you just hate shredding and grating, buy bagged green cabbage and grated carrots slaw mix.

  • Avoid using red cabbage or slaw mix containing red cabbage, as the red color will bleed into the dressing giving it a purple tinge.
