The skin-beautifying properties of honey have been known since the time of Cleopatra, who used to bathe in milk and honey. 1
Choose unfiltered, unprocessed honey for your firming facial mask. Most store brands say on the label whether the honey is "raw," which means it hasn't been processed or heated. The darker the color of the honey, the better. However, lighter shades will work, also. Darker colored honey contains more nutrient concentrations. If possible, obtain honey directly from a honey farm. You can find these by searching online or looking in the local phone book.

Use a whisk to combine 1 tbsp. of honey with the white of one egg. If you don't have a whisk, use a fork and whip the two ingredients briskly for a couple of minutes to incorporate. The solution should be foamy. Add 1 tsp. of glycerin and mix again.

Start with 1/4 tsp. of flour, adding enough to the mixture to form a paste consistency. Make sure there are no lumps. Use the whisk to combine or a fork or spoon.

Smooth the mixture over face and throat with clean fingertips. Avoid the eye area. Allow the firming facial to penetrate the skin for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
