Many people see celebrities and envy their seemingly perfect butts. It is very rare that anybody is genetically blessed to have a perfect behind without exercising. To tone the buttocks, you need to perform butt specific exercises on a regular basis.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Use a stepper. One of the easiest ways to tone the butt is to invest in a stepper. Step exercises work the glutes the best.
Step2
Run or jog stairs. Use the stairs in you house. Another option is to go to the local high school and jog on their bleachers.
Step3
Perform squats. You should do at least 10 reps and 3 sets to begin. Leg lunges can also be used to tone the butt.
Step4
Add resistance. Using hand weights or a weighted bar behind your head will work the butt even more during exercises.
Step5
Keep your feet farther apart. Legs that are shoulder width apart during squats or lunges will more effectively tone your butt.
Step6
Perform sports that use your hips to achieve motion. Skiing and skating provide great butt-toning workouts because the strides that they use to move work the glutes.
Step7
Eat fewer carbs. To lose fat in your butt and your thighs, limit the number of carbohydrates that you consume. Add more protein and greens to your diet.
