How to Prepare Food for a Casino Night

Casino night parties are gaining in popularity and for good reason--they are great fun and can be done with a small or large group of people.

Instructions

    • 1

Plan ahead. Decide on a menu at least a week in advance.

    • 2

Determine your shopping list. Select finger foods which aren't messy so your guests can snack while they play. Choose foods which work with the theme you have chosen for your party. For example, create a vegetable tray with red and green peppers, celery, tomatoes and black olives.

    • 3

Go shopping. Purchase more than you think you'll need based on the number of people you are expecting.

    • 4

Prepare food items early. Dips are great to make the day before because you can chill them.

    • 5

Lay out all the prepared food before the party, taking out the refridgerated items just as the guests are arriving. Place beverages together with cups and ice and remember the napkins and utensils.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use plates that will fit on the tables you are using for the games.

  • Finger foods which work great for casino parties include mini-sandwiches, cheese and crackers, and vegetable and fruit trays.
