1
Realize that nobody's opinion is wrong and that everybody's opinion should be valued. Just because you do not agree doesn't make the other person wrong. There is more than one right way to do things.
-
2
Treat your coworker with the respect that you would want. You do not have to like your coworker personally but they deserve to be treated with respect.

-
3
Accept that conflict is inevitable. You are different people confined to one space. Just because there is conflict does not mean that your coworker is a trouble maker.
-
4
Keep the lines of communication open. If you feel that there is a problem or your coworker said or did something that upset you then talk about it. Do not let it build up until it explodes.
-
5
Leave your personal life at home. Most differences that people have are personal. If it is brought to the work place than it can cause unnecessary issues.
-
6
Look for the value in everybody. If there is something that drives you crazy about someone then look a little deeper and you can probably find a quality that you value. Everybody has good in them if you look hard enough.
-
7
Appreciate the work that your coworker contributes to the company. After all, that is what you are all there for. You are contributing to a team.
