Living in London and studying at the London School of Economics (LSE) is fairly expensive. Fortunately, the LSE has many scholarships available for students requiring financial assistance. To get a scholarship, follow the application process and send in your application well in advance of the stipulated deadline.
Make sure you have the finances to cover your living costs and tuition fees. You should ascertain this before you apply for admission to the London School of Economics.

Have a confirmed admission offer to attend the LSE. The Undergraduate Admission Offer Pack will include information on how you can apply for financial assistance.

Check the LSE website for the scholarships on offer. There are often new scholarships coming up, so check regularly.

Read the conditions, eligibility factors and value of each scholarship carefully. Each scholarship has a separate set of rules. However, you only need to fill and submit one application form for all the available scholarships.

Complete an online Undergraduate Support Scheme application via the school's LSE For You system, if you are an Overseas Student. The online application system will evaluate the basic financial details you provide and let you know immediately if you meet the required criteria. If you are eligible, submit a hard copy application to the Financial Office.

Complete a Scholarship Application form and submit it to the Financial Support office, if you are a Home UK/EU student.

Include documentary proof of your financial status (your current bank statement or pay slips) and an academic reference in a sealed envelope with your application forms in both cases.

If your application meets the criteria of the Financial Office, you will receive written notification that you have won a scholarship.
Tips & Warnings
Make LSE your first choice institution. That's more likely to get you a scholarship.
Get your reference from someone who knows you well and submit the original signed document.
You will not receive any assistance from the London School of Economics if you register without sufficient funds and are unable to pay for your education.
