"CSI" has been one of prime time's most successful evening dramas since it hit the airwaves in 2000. Since then, "CSI" has expanded to include "CSI Miami" and "CSI New York," both spin offs of the original show. Fascination with the show and its characters is a nationwide phenomenon, with more students than ever enrolling in criminology-based undergraduate work. However, even people who are not striving to work in the field are demanding more information about the show and crime scene investigation in general.
