Fans of the hit television show "House" will love a show-themed premiere party. With the right number of activities, prizes and food, your party is sure to be a top notch premiere event.
Send your invitations early and ask guests to "Register" with you if they will be attending. Invite more people than you have room for, because not everyone will be able to attend.
Step2
Rent a big screen television from a local rental store. When Dr. Gregory House comes on screen and starts spewing his infamous bad phrases and words, everyone will want to see it.
Step3
Play the "I can't believe House said or did that" game. Go around the room and have everyone reenact their favorite lines from House that you know no other doctor would ever dare say!
Step4
Ask your guests to put together their best doctor outfit and wear it to the party (extra points for anyone who walks with a cane like Dr. House). Give a prize to the best costume, silliest costume, most elaborate costume and most original costume.
Step5
Set up stations or "Departments" for food. Finger food should be in the pharmacy department and the dessert in the Operating Room. Use colored masking tape on the floor to direct people from department to department as decorations.
Step6
Make up a board game using medical trivia to see just how much your guests know. Keep track of everyone's points on a big white-board like the one Dr. House and his team of experts uses to figure out complex medical mysteries.
Step7
Use your party as an excuse to act like a kid again. If your group is not too large, bring out your game of "Operation" and let everyone test their skill at playing doctor.
Step8
Give away first aid kits as parting gifts. Not everyone remembers to stock their first aid kits until something happens. Buy some inexpensive kits to hand out to guests at the end of the night.
Tips & Warnings
Invite your guests as far in advance of your premiere party as possible so they may plan for childcare. The show is on later in prime time and is not really suitable for children.
Plan to have the rental television delivered a day or so before the event, so you can set up a comfortable atmosphere and have everything in working order well before your guests arrive.
