How to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Ocala, Florida

The city of Ocala, Florida, plays host to a unique Oktoberfest experience for 3 weekends in October. One of the longer versions of this German celebration, the Ocala version of Oktoberfest takes place in the Silver Springs Theme Park, a 300 plus acre park that mixes wildlife education with fun rides. This large restaurant is the epicenter of the festival's activities in Silver Springs Nature Park, with hundreds of seats available for park goers. 5. Help your children embrace their German roots by bringing them to Oktoberfest at discounted prices. Children under the age of 3 get into the park for free and attendees between 3 and 12 get a half price ticket when compared to adult admission.
