How to Celebrate Oktoberfest in South Norwalk, Connecticut
South Norwalk, Connecticut is home to many festivals and special events throughout the year. The city does not, however, have an official Oktoberfest celebration in the traditional sense. There are no fairgrounds or Weisn fields in South Norwalk, no marketplaces or midways with food and game booths and no beer tents with large stages. Still, locals can celebrate a scaled-back version of Oktoberfest by visiting one of many restaurants and bars within this Connecticut community during the months of September and October. One such venue is the Brewhouse Restaurant, which runs its Oktoberfest event from October 1 to 15 and features German foods, beers, music and dancing.
