Tips & Warnings

  • The museum is homage to Wendy and Emery Reves, whose $38 million art collection was one of the main forces behind the creation of the Dallas Museum Of Art. The actual building and much of its interior was created to faithfully reproduce the look of the villa the couple owned in Italy.
  • The museum is located at Ross St in The Arts District, and is surrounded by a series of galleries, theaters and performing art venues that are also worth visiting. Other significant cultural attractions, such as the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, are also nearby.
