1
Click on the "File" menu in the Mac OS Finder program. This is the default program that is always on and the first thing you see when you start your computer up. From the "File" menu, drag the curser down to "New Burn Folder" and pick that option to make your burn folder.

2
Notice the new burn folder on your Mac OS Tiger desktop. The folder has the yellow and black caution graphic on it, which will be familiar to anyone who has burned a disc in any Mac OS before.

3
Name your burn folder. The text is highlighted blue when you first make the file, waiting for you to name it. Enter a name and press "return" to finalize it. If you make a mistake, single click on the name and the window will become editable again.

Drag any files to the burn folder, holding down the "Option" key to copy new versions into your burn folder. If you make a mistake, drag the unwanted files out of the burn folder and into the trashcan in the dock to delete them.

Insert a blank CD or DVD into your computer. Now, select "Burn disc" from the "File" menu in Finder. The contents of the burn folder will now be burned to the CD or DVD to create a new copy of your work.

Tips & Warnings
You can burn music CDs with iTunes once you set up a burn disc.
CDs are smaller than DVDs, meaning they can't hold as much information. Blank CDs have only about 700 megabytes of free space, while DVDs can have up to several gigabytes of room.
To make sure your data will fit on a CD or DVD, click on the burn disc once and select "Get info" from the "File" menu to find out the size of the files you want to burn.
In order to burn audio files using the burn disc, they must be saved in "AIFF" format. Keep in mind, though, that not all burned music CDs can be read by all music systems.
Sometimes the computer will eject the blank disc you just inserted and ask you for a blank disc. Just insert the disk again and burning will continue.
