Tips & Warnings
PSP uses Universal Media Discs instead of traditional CDs and DVDs. They are considerably smaller and not always compatible with traditional CD and DVD drives. They can hold up to 1.8 gigabytes of data.
Windows Vista is not sold on Universal Media Disc. The installation disc must be copied from a CD or DVD disc.
Don't forget Microsoft requires you to activate your copy of Windows Vista within 30 days of installation or the operating system will stop working. You can activate your copy either online or by phone. Check your manual for activation instructions.
Registering your copy of Windows Vista and all of your software, though not required to use the system, is always a good idea. You will be prompted to register after you install and periodically after that.
Be sure to buy a new copy of Windows Vista for your PSP and do not install it on any other devices or drives. Software piracy is against the law.
Contact Microsoft for further information on copyright infringement and software piracy before attempting to install Windows Vista on your PSP to make absolutely sure you are doing nothing illegal.
