How to Change a Webpage Created in Frontpage From .HTM to .HTML

You will learn how to change the extension on a web page file from .HTM to .HTML in this quick and easy tutorial.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• A computer
• Notepad

1. Locate your file in Windows using the Windows hard drive explorer.

2. Right click on the desired .HTM file and click Open with... then select Notepad.

3. Once the file has been opened in Notepad, go to File>Save As and for the filename in parentheses put "filename.html" instead of the current "filename.htm"

4. The file has now been saved with a .HTML extension instead of .HTM!
