How to Install a Sound Card

To install a sound card in any pc, first switch off the computer and disconnect it from any power source and peripherials. Then remove the pc`s back cover. Locate the expansion slots on the mother board. remove the dust protector corresponding to the slot you wish to us and then slot in the sound card into position. Locate the cd rom`s audio cable and plug it into your sound card. Replace the computers cover and boot. Install the drivers that came with your sound card, depending on your operating and restart your computer. It`s time to play now

  • A set of screw drivers
  • An anti-static wrist strap
  • confidence

Install the sound card.
