Beat-Herder is a Lancashire festival set in Ribble valley and Dockber Farm. Evolving from the Northern party scene, it showcases art, music and theatre with a sharp edge. If you think you can handle this, then follow the steps below and you are guaranteed an eye opening time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Check out their homepage (link below). All the events and performers are listed here with both the time and stage they are playing.
Step2
Decide on who you want to watch.
Step3
Understand the ticket price and what it includes. Some festivals charge extra for parking, facilities and camping.
Step4
Book your tickets. Tickets can be booked and paid for online via their website. The beat-herder organizers have a variety of payment methods including bank transfer, paypal and cheques (an address to send cheques is on the website).
Step5
Decide how you are going to get there. Many people drive and fortunately Beat-Herder has free parking. There are signs directing festivals goers a mile from the site.
Step6
Catch a train. The nearest railway station is ****heroe which is 6 miles from the Beat Herder festival. From the station, catch the 280 bus. For travel times and prices, contact Traveline.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don’t have a car and think that traveling by train is too expensive check the forum to see if anybody is offering space in their car or put a message up yourself.
  • Tickets can also be bought at the gate on the day. This is not guaranteed and you need to get to the festival early for this to be possible. The gates open on the June 29 at noon.
