How to Defeat Omor the Unscarred in the Hellfire Ramparts in World of Warcraft

Boss number two, Omor the Unscarred. He’s big, he’s nasty and he likes to call demon dogs to help him. Got Shadow Resist? Put it on now. These WOW tips will help you defeat him.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

1. Find him. After you clear out the landing, head to the right (the ramp without any Orks on it.) Kill his 2 buddies standing before his platform and you’re ready.
2. Gear up. Anything with Shadow Resist will help here. Omor has an AoE shadowbolt that hurts like a bugger. A Paladin Shadow Resist Aura will help, along with any shadow resist potions you might have. His shadow damage doesn’t hurt as much as the final boss’ fire damage, but it can still be trouble.
3. Charge! Aside from massive shadow damager, Omor is a fairly simple Spank 'n' Tank. Just be aware that he may punt your tank into the air for a while. Be sure to keep your Tank topped off, the fall may be quite painful.
4. Eliminate his dogs ASAP. His dogs add more shadow damage and have a few other nasty tricks up their sleeves. When one appears, shift all dps over to the dog. The only person who should not be attacking the dog is the tank.
5. Rejoice--if you had some shadow resist and brought down the dogs quickly enough, Omor should be a piece of cake. Enjoy his loot.
