How to Transfer a Title for a Vehicle
To transfer the title of a vehicle, you will need a few documents, and in some cases the vehicle will need to be inspected by the tag agent. Same State Transfers

Get original title from owner of vehicle.

Have current owner sign the title as Seller in the proper place. Some states require this signature to be notarized.

Take the signed title to the tag agency and sign as buyer.

Out of State Transfers
